Training Systems Institute, in partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University and the Center for Leadership and Innovation, offers a web-based training certification course for trainers, educators, human resource managers, and career changers.
Entitled Certification in Training (CIT), this course provides you with the tools and techniques needed to design, develop, and deliver an effective training course.
The course is based on a series of texts authored by Dr. Geri McArdle, who will be your mentor as you progress through the course.
There are four modules and a capstone project. You must work the modules in sequence, and you must (a) take a test at the end of each module and achieve a score of 80% or better, (b) submit your case assignment, and (c) complete the assessment form before proceeding to the next module.
You will receive four Continuing Education Credits for each module you successfully complete, and four CEUs for successfully completing the capstone project. Certification is awarded when you complete the entire course.
