Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), through its College of Business, Center for Leadership and Innovation, provides education for financial professionals to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
		The purpose of FGCU's CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification Education Program is to increase the number of professionals serving the South Florida population and provide lifelong learning opportunities to qualified financial professionals.
Florida Gulf Coast University, College of Business, Center for Leadership and Innovation, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification Education Program is a registered program with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and are marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP® Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. Florida Gulf Coast University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and marks. CFP® certification is granted only by the Certified Financial Board of Standards, Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP® Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
